The latest software update for Sonos wireless speakers includes Spotify Connect integration so the Spotify app has full control over the speakers.
Sonos products include the Play:1, Play:3 and Play:5, along with a soundbar and subwoofer.
The software update makes Sonos the only home sound system that is fully controllable from the Spotify app, for example to send whatever you’re playing on Spotify to any Sonos speaker, group all your rooms together, adjust the volume for every room at once, or transfer a song from headphones to a Sonos speaker.
The update also extends the Trueplay feature that uses an iPhone or iPad app to tune the individual speakers within a Sonos system for more realistic sound. Initially supporting the Play:1, Play:3 and Play:5, it now works with all Sonos home theatre set-ups.
