Optus has launched a 24/7 sports channel dedicated to cricket over the summer months as part of an exclusive content partnership with Cricket Australia.
The new channel is available until 28 February next year for eligible mobile, mobile broadband and home broadband customers with an Optus Sport subscription.
And, from Monday, eligible post-paid mobile and mobile broadband customers can live stream this summer’s cricket data-free on their mobile, with the Cricket Australia Live app which can be accessed via the Optus Sport app.
Optus Sport subscribers will get access to a range of classic cricket matches, exclusive extended match highlights, and in-depth game analysis on the new channel – including live Test matches and one-day internationals in Australia, Big Bash League, and T20 internationals in Australia without having to worry about data usage.

With some of the biggest Test matches and Big Bash League games live and data-free on eligible mobiles, and our 24/7 Optus Sport channel dedicated to cricket over the summer, there’s no reason for fans to miss out.”
New and existing customers can get Optus Sport for $15/month on selected plans $30 and above (minimum cost over 12 months is $540 on a $30 mobile plan).
And, Optus Sport is included at no extra cost on selected plans $85 and above (minimum cost over 24 months $2040 on an $85 mobile plan).
