Xbox One S in Australia: four new bundles, two new colours

Microsoft has announced four new Xbox One S bundles, with ‘Deep Blue’ and ‘Storm Grey’ the new Xbox One S colours to tempt you into upgrading.

Proudly boasting of ‘the biggest games line-up in Xbox history,’ Microsoft unsurprisingly wants you to buy an Xbox One S console.

For those needing a refresher, the Xbox One S including support for HDR gaming (providing you have a television capable of display HDR colour), 4K streaming, a built-in power supply and 4K Ultra HD Blu-Ray support, among other features, alongside ‘a console 40% smaller than the original Xbox One.’

The new bundles available are listed below:

  • Xbox One S Gears of War 4 Special Edition 500GB Bundle in Deep Blue – available 1 Nov 2016 exclusively at Microsoft Store and EB Games for RRP AU$399
  • Xbox One S Gears of War 4 1TB Bundle – available 11th Oct 2016 at Microsoft Store and selected retailers from RRP AU$499
  • Xbox One S Battlefield 1 Special Edition 500GB Bundle in Storm Grey – available 1 Nov 2016 exclusively at JB Hi-Fi and Microsoft Store for RRP AU$399
  • Xbox One S Minecraft Favourites 500GB Bundle – available 1 Nov 2016 at Microsoft Store and selected retailers for RRP AU$399

We are told that ‘all four bundles come complete with the fan-favourite Xbox One S console and the new Xbox Wireless Controller, in addition to digital download codes for the game inspiring the bundle. The Minecraft Bundle also comes with the Minecraft Xbox One Favourites and Builder’s Packs.’
