The Royal Automobile Club of Victoria (RACV) is partnering with home networking and smart home products company NETGEAR to launch the Arlo Pro 2 Smart Security camera, a weather-resistant, wire-free camera.
The Arlo Pro 2 captures high quality 1080p HD video with pinch-to-zoom capability, a plug-in solar panel power option, and support for voice services like Amazon Alexa and Google Home.
“With an RACV member in approximately 60 per cent of households across Victoria, it is important we cater to a variety of needs within the home,” said Susan Allen, Executive General Manager RACV Home.
“The evolution of smart home technology has meant we were keen to find a partner with an established background in this space. Our members may want to use the Arlo Camera to check-in on their children when they get home from school or keep a watchful eye on their pet throughout their workday. We envisage the Arlo Pro 2 being really popular and are excited to partner with NETGEAR, as we continue to build our offerings in the home.”
