Technology Fast 50 2017 Australia winner, Hireup, has "ranked second in the 2017 Asia Pacific Technology Fast 500, with three other Australian winners also making the top 10".
Overall, we're told that "90 Australian companies feature in the Tech Fast 500, the highest in the last 13 years and third only to China (119) and Taiwan (101) – who have almost doubled their number of entries since 2016. Australian companies feature strongly at the top, making up 30% (6) of the top twenty growth companies".
And, as has been the trend for the past five years in the Tech Fast 500, "software continues to dominate sector growth. Up from 199 companies last year, the 2017 rankings include 212 software companies in the top 500, accounting for 42% of the companies ranked".
Clearly, when Bill Gates would talk about "the magic of software", he really was onto something!
{loadposition alex08}Hardware is well represented too, however, as it was "the second most prevalent sector in this year's rankings, accounting for 18% of the Tech Fast 500.
"Despite this, only one hardware company made it into the top 10 winners, Zero Latency Pty Ltd, an Australian online multi-player virtual reality game."

Deloitte’s announcement of the 2017 Asia Pacific Technology Fast 500 winners "shows revenue growth of the 500 companies continuing to increase year-on-year, with mobile entertainment companies dominating top 10 rankings and Chinese live streaming platform Wuhan Douyu Network Technology taking the top spot, with Hireup at number 2".
