Global analyst firm IDC has appointed former SAS head of marketing Iggy Pintado as its managing director for Australia and New Zealand.
Pintado, who joins IDC from SAS, is an experienced marketing and sales and business operations executive, having worked at IBM, Telstra, UXC Connect and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
He is the author of Connected Generation, and IDC says he is one of the region’s most digitally connected business strategists and a recognised thought leader in digital and innovation business initiatives.
Pintado replaces Ullrich Loeffler, who is pursuing other interests, and will report directly to IDC Asia Pacific’s Managing Director, Eva Au.
