OKI Data Australia’s new Teriostar large format digital LED mono printers have now gone multifunction, and can also now scan in colour or mono.
Naturally billed as being “designed to boost productivity in design, engineering and reprographics businesses,” OKI Data Australia is justifiably proud of its new Teriostar MFPs, being the LP-1040MF and LP-2060MF models.
As you’d expect, OKI says they “boast best-in-class mono print speeds of up to seven A1 and nine A1-size prints per minute respectively, as well as maximum print lengths of 10 and 15 metres respectively.”
You’re promised “scan speeds of 240 mm per second and parallel processing of tasks” to also help accelerate workflow.

OKI says its models are “compatible with plain, trace and film paper up to A0 size,” and that such credentials make the Teriostar series “the perfect solution for a variety of businesses, including print shops, architecture, engineering, construction and print proofing.”
Even better for the space constrained realities of modern life, the Teriostar series offers compact dimensions so that “placement in smaller workspaces is also made easy.”
Of course, that’s not all!
In an industry-first, OKI says “both models feature a user-replaceable process cartridge – essentially a combination cartridge and photoconductor drum.”
What this means is the delivery of “significant benefits to users, including increased uptime and reduced support costs.”
As noted in the intro, both models are capable of both colour and mono scanning, and boast an “impressive 8.5-inch colour touch-screen and intuitive user interface” so you get “quick access to frequently used menus that make the Teriostar series a breeze to operate.”
There’s also an integrated software solution - dubbed “Teriostation2,” which we’re told “enables networked users to send jobs - including multiple files, using the most common file formats such as TIFF, PDF and more.”
As you’d expect, OKI advises that “exceptional print quality is assured with a new Print Data Converter which repairs typical issues such as speckles, slants and errors sometimes seen with scan or file converter data.”
Need more modern featues, like security?
Well, to prevent unauthorised use, to minimise the risk of uncollected output, to eliminate waste and controlling job logs, OKI says its Teriostar series “offers a robust suite of security features including PIN codes, user names and passwords or optional smart card reader for user authentication," and if needed, "complete deletion of hard disk drive data is also possible."
Antonio Leone, Marketing Manager, OKI Data ANZ, said: “We set out to provide users with a solution that delivers where it matters - increased productivity, ease of use, security and output quality. A winning combination of design and technology ensure that the Teriostar series excels on all fronts, helping to deliver cost savings and maximising uptime in dynamic environments where time is money.
“Furthermore, additional revenue streams await our reseller network with a solution that addresses the needs of users beyond the core office printing market,” Leone concluded.
Due to arrive in September from “selected authorised OKI resellers,” the ex-GST pricing (and links to more info) is as follows:
- OKI Teriostar LP-1040MF: A$24,800
- OKI Teriostar LP-2060MF: A$41,900
There’s a 3 year warranty, too, which you can access within 30 days of purchase upon customer registration.
Finally, LED printing technology is “an advanced form of printing using fewer parts compared with the more widely known laser printing,” which OKI says “in turn provides many benefits to users including longer product life, increased reliability and superior image quality over the entire life of the print engine.”
So, if this kind of large format printing and scanning is something you do, now you know there are new models available from September. Happy printing and scanning!
