Former Wipro Technologies and IBM executive Richard Parker has been appointed by Unisys as vice-president financial services for Asia Pacific.
Parker, who joins Unisys from Wipro where he was director financial services, has more than 20 years’ experience in sales leadership, operational management and client relationships within the financial services sector.
The Asia Pacific region represented 13% of Unisys’ global revenue in Q2 2016.
“Our industry focus is core to our business strategy, and we are very excited for Richard to join the Unisys team and bring his extensive experience supporting financial services organisations,” said Tony Windever, vice-president and general manager, Unisys Asia Pacific.
