Ultimate Ears, a division of computer peripherals maker Logitech, has released its latest portable Bluetooth speaker which is known as HYPERBOOM.
The device is meant for use at parties and has a rechargeable battery that will last for 24 hours.
A statement from Ultimate Ears said HYPERBOOM supported four input sources: two Bluetooth, one 3.5mm auxiliary and one optical audio. When the speaker was moved from a location indoors to one outdoors, the adaptive equalisation adjusted the sound for best effect.
“With HYPERBOOM, we’re taking our signature Ultimate Ears sound and making it bigger and louder than ever to get whole rooms of people on their feet dancing,” said Mindy Fournier, head of product management at Ultimate Ears.

The speaker has an IPX4 rating which means it will not be affected by either alcohol or water splashing on it. It has one-touch music control and users can launch playlists from Apple Music, Spotify for Android, Amazon Music and Deezer Premium with the push of a single button.
The device retails for $599 and will be available from March onwards.
