Payments processing technology provider, Mint Payments has sealed a deal with travel agency software solution providers TravelPartner to deliver its fully integrated online payments processing service to its growing network of travel agents.
Under the two-year licensing and distribution agreement, TravelPartner has integrated Mint’s card payment module into its core SaaS product offering VTO Ultimate to enable credit card payment acceptance by travel agents for all travel and service fee transactions.
The agreement means that travel agencies using TravelPartner’s travel agency software solutions will now be able to complete payments processing tasks easily via the software, reducing the need for a labour-intensive user experience.
TravelPartner’s founder and chief executive Keith Harris said, “Today, travel agencies not only look for simplicity, affordability, portability, compatibility and industry compliance in their travel management application, but they also seek an easier way to make and reconcile payments by their customers. Our software integration with Mint dispenses the manual process of payments and delivers cost and time savings, data security, integrity and accuracy.”

Mint Payments chief executive Alex Teoh said Mint had processed more than $180 million of payments for Tramada. “We look forward to extending this service and providing cost savings and process efficiencies to TravelPartners’ network of travel agents.”
