Human resources technology company Xref has inked a new partnership agreement with online recruitment technology company, Expr3ss!, to combine applicant selection and employee reference checks.
The two companies have integrated their cloud-based platforms and say they will promote their services through joint marketing activities.
Under the partnership Expr3ss!’s clients will gain direct access to Xref's candidate referencing platform through their staff selection platform, while integration increases Xref’s exposure to the small- to medium sized business market, which currently represents approximately 12% of Xref’s business.
Expr3ss! uses proprietary algorithms to pinpoint applicants likely to be successful in a certain role. Its clients include national employers such as Beaumont Tiles, Kennards Hire, Alpha Flight Services, Krispy Kreme, Ogilvy PR, Laser Group and Spend-less Shoes, and the company says its services are highly complementary to Xref's candidate referencing system.

Xref CEO and executive director Lee-Martin Seymour said the integration introduces a @commercial partnership between two fast-growing human resources technology companies to provide a seamless end-to-end experience, consistent with our growth strategy”.
