Integration and analytics vendor Tibco Software has extended its partnership with Formula One champions Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport for the 2018 season.
Tibco will provide the Mercedes team with software to support strategic decisionmaking based on data collected from the brand-new Mercedes-AMG F1 W09 EQ Power+ race car, which is expected to be the fastest ever Formula One car.
The technology provides access to and visualisation of gigabytes of live and historical data.
Advanced analytics will enable insights at the factory and during the race.
{loadposition stephen08}The system is based on Tibco's Connected Intelligence Cloud platform, and the company will provide the services of a team of data scientists.
