FinTech Australia is on the lookout for a new CEO to replace Danielle Szetho who has resigned.
Szetho was appointed inaugural CEO in June 2016 and Sarah Worboys will be appointed as interim CEO from 19 March.
FinTech Australia chair Stuart Stoyan thanked Szetho for her “outstanding and dedicated service” to Australia’s fintech community.
“For the last 20 months, Danielle has been the heart and soul of Australia’s fintech community. Danielle’s energy and passion has been central to Australia developing into one of the world’s leading fintech ecosystems,” Stoyan said.
{loadposition peter}Szetho is an advisory board member of Sydney-based micro payments startup Tapview, and was previously Industry Head - Banking and Finance and Head of Data Partnerships at Fairfax Media.
Stoyan says FinTech Australia is partnering with MitchelLake in the search for Szetho’s replacement.
