Brennan IT seals new WAN deal with Endeavour Foundation

Brisbane-based IT services company Brennan IT has inked a partnership agreement with not-for-profit charity organisation, Endeavour Foundation, to provide WAN and co-location services.

The three-year agreement extends the existing relationship between the two, which commenced in 2009.

It follows an extensive collaborative process with Endeavour Foundation, during which Brennan IT engaged in multiple iterations of technical and commercial workshops to shape the solution appropriately.

Brennan says Endeavour Foundation highlighted its key business requirements, largely driven by the changes needed to implement NDIS, as flexibility, consolidation and simplification of the current MPLS network from multiple providers.

It was also essential to choose a strategic partner that could offer flexible commercial terms to enable ongoing alignment with business requirements. Brennan IT delivered on all counts, working closely with Endeavour Foundation to deliver a commercial and technical solution that will position Endeavour Foundation strongly for future growth.”

The new solution includes more than 250 WAN links, including co-located Internet and cross-connects, managed hardware, including 3G routers and Wi-Fi access points, and co-located rack space.

Stephen Sims, chief executive, Brennan IT, said, “This new partnership extends Brennan IT’s long and successful history of working with Endeavour Foundation to support the flexibility, growth, and strategic initiatives of the business.

"This contract was signed after extensive due diligence during which Brennan IT proved its commitment to Endeavour Foundation and demonstrated its capability to deliver according to the customer’s needs. We’re looking forward to finalising and delivering the WAN migration project.”
