Online discounter Kogan keeps on expanding its business away from its core delivery of electronic goods like mobile phones and mobile services, with its latest foray into the life insurance and funeral insurance business.
Only a month since it branched out into the health insurance market in a partnership with Medibank, Kogan has today entered into an agreement with Greenstone Financial Services enabling it to offer life insurance and funeral insurance policies under a new brand, Kogan Life Insurance.
Under the new brand and partnership with Greenstone, Kogan will earn commissions on every insurance policy sold.
The company says Kogan Life insurance will initially focus on offering great value life insurance and funeral insurance policies, but the policy range will grow over time to include related categories.

Kogan expects to launch its new life insurance business within the current half year. Kogan Health is set to launch during the same period.
