Network security vendor WatchGuard Technologies has appointed Mark Sinclair as ANZ regional director, and Kurt Brandon as territory sales manager for New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.

"They are proven technology and product leaders and their combined 40 years plus of experience in sales and channel partner engagement will be highly prized as we continue to drive our revenue and establish WatchGuard Technologies as a critical partner for organisations weaving their way through a raft of cyber security challenges in 2018."
Lejeune added “with both Mark and Kurt on board, we will be able to continue to build upon the strong foundation we’ve laid by focusing on regional channel support, customer delight, and scaling the company in both Australia and New Zealand."
{loadposition stephen08}Sinclair (pictured) joined from Oracle, where he most recently worked as ANZ commercial sales programs and strategy director after being hired as senior sales director.
He previously spent ten years at Trend Micro, culminating in the role of ANZ commercial sales director. Earlier in his career, Sinclair worked in sales roles at Tenix and Baltimore Technologies.
He holds an honours degree in electrical engineering from the University of Sydney, a masters degree in engineering management from UTS, and an MBA also from UTS.
Kurt Brandon joined WatchGuard as territory sales manager for New Zealand and the Pacific Islands from Exceed, where he most recently worked as head of the security and networking business.
He previously worked in diverse roles at Voco, ZTE, Gen-i, Kalooma, Corporate GSM and Corporate Connections.
Brandon holds a postgraduate degree in business administration from the University of Auckland.
