Melbourne and Brisbane-based IT service provider, GPK Group, has selected Dell EMC Cloud for Microsoft Azure Stack to underpin its hybrid cloud offering.
The deal will see the deployment of the first full production Microsoft Azure Stack system in Australia and New Zealand, and one of the first in the APJ region.
Dell says its EMC Cloud for Microsoft Azure Stack will allow GPK Group to enhance its on-premises hybrid cloud by using Microsoft Azure services from within its data centre.
The purpose-built, hyper converged infrastructure platform was delivered as a turn-key solution and was operational in five days. The system is fully supported by Dell EMC, including integrated health monitoring, reporting and operational updates.
{loadposition peter}According to Dell, the technology has delivered a seamless and consistent Microsoft Azure experience — whether on-premises or in the public cloud — and allowed GPK Group to extend its hybrid cloud offering to its managed service customers.
