Amazon's Boxing Day Sale announced, hundreds of deals promised

Looks like Amazon is keeping its biggest 2017 deals for Boxing Day, with the promise of "hundreds of deals across all categories", including 40% off select fashion and much, much more.

Amazon Australia has announced that "on 26 December from 12:00am AEDT, Australians will be able to access hundreds of deals across a range of must-have products during its Boxing Day Sale".

In addition, "there will also be hundreds of ‘Lightning Deals’ introduced throughout the sale – products available at a discount, in limited quantities, for a short period of time".

The global retailer says that customers shopping on the website "will find discounts of up to 40% off on select men's, women's and kids’ clothing, shoes and accessories across brands including Puma, Casio and Tommy Hilfiger".

"Alongside Fashion, customers will be able to buy 1 get 1 free on select books, music and DVDs", while "customers will also be able to save up to $50 on select Kindle e-readers and save on the recently launched Fire TV Stick".

So, you'll be happy to hear Amazon promise "great deals will also be available on electronics such as Fitbit and Sonos, video games from Nintendo, Ubisoft and EA and toys from Hasbro, Play-doh and Mattel".

"Kitchen products, gaming consoles and nappies will also be among the many hundreds of deals available to customers."

There's also Audible that "will be running an Amazon exclusive offer, giving new customers access to their subscription service at a heavily discounted price, making it the best Audible offer for new customers".

On top of this, "a number of businesses selling through Amazon Marketplace will also participate in the Boxing Day Sale, providing hundreds of extra deals, and giving customers access to even more great products at discounted prices."

What about delivery?

Well, Amazon says its customers "can enjoy free delivery on eligible orders above $49 that are sold by Amazon. A paid one-day delivery service is also available in select areas across Australia. Customers making eligible purchases with a NAB personal credit card or registered American Express cards will receive 10% cash back up to a maximum of $100 this Boxing Day."

Rocco Braeuniger, country manager of Amazon Australia, said: "We hope that with our Boxing Day sale we are offering customers great value across hundreds of products, and a convenient way to shop during the holidays.”

And what about the usual disclaimers?

Here they are:

"All deals will be available on Boxing Day only, and while stocks last. Alongside Boxing Day deals customers across Australia can visit Amazon.com.au and shop from tens of millions of products across more than 20 categories with benefits such as everyday low prices and fast delivery options.

"Amazon.com.au features a wide selection, including Books, Video Games, Consumer Electronics, Sports & Outdoors, Tools, Toys, Home Improvement, Beauty, Clothing & Accessories, Shoes and Amazon Devices, such as our Kindle E-reader and Fire TV Stick devices."
