Small ISP MyRepublic has been dogged by speed issues from 6.30am AEST on Saturday, due to what it says are problems with its upstream carrier. The issues appear to have been fixed as of 7.45pm AEST.
Both NBN customers and ADLS customers were affected, the latter in the Wollongong area.
Speeds were down below even 1Mbps for downloads, with the upload speeds a wee bit better at about 3.4Mbps for this writer who is on a 100Mbps/40 connection on HFC.
Support lines appeared to be overwhelmed, with one having to wait on the line for nearly an hour for a response.
