International consulting firm Deloitte announced today it has been named a leader in Business Transformation in the latest Forrester report.
Independent research firm Forrester released "The Forrester Wave: Business Transformation Consultancies, Q3 2017," which ranks Deloitte with the highest scores in categories labelled current offering and strategy.
Forrester uses 19 criteria to evaluate business transformation providers and states it identified ten of the world's top consultancies, then researched, analysed and scored them. The report shows how each provider measures up, aimed at helping chief information officers and business leaders make the right choice of consulting partner.
“Deloitte has become the model consulting firm for business transformations today,” writes author Marc Cecere, vice-president, Principal Analyst Serving CIOs, in the report. “Their shift to digital from traditional areas has been dramatic, particularly in their use of analytics, digital agency, their ecosystem, and the depth of their customer/industry-specific knowledge. Their ability to integrate numerous acquisitions — e.g., Day1 Solutions for cloud and Cornerstone Group for digital marketing and analytics — has been a significant contributor to this shift.”

The report also notes, “traditional, labour-intensive consulting models are going through major upheaval and reinvention. More demanding customer requirements are putting pressure on both the speed of delivery and the operating models of leading consulting firms.”

The report further states Deloitte shows maturity and innovation in all aspects of strategy and delivery, with many well-integrated acquisitions and a supportive culture, and that its research and application of organisational change management is the most sophisticated Forrester has seen, even going so far to state Deloitte's ChangeScout platform may turn Organisational Change Management into a science.
