Global software applications and outsourcing services provider Civica has been selected by the Ipswich City Council to deploy its digital transformation software in all the council’s libraries.
The City of Ipswich has been planning a complete system overhaul for some time, and some of its primary objectives include meeting the needs of its audience and supporting its Advance Ipswich Strategy 2015 plan.
Civica says the council, which boasts the youngest population demographic in Australia, was looking for a solution which could help transform its library service delivery to the community.
The council chose Spydus10 after a formal tender process and evaluation of a number of library systems on the market.
