Epson has announced its newest ink cartridge-free EcoTank printer range, doubling the page yield of previous models and introducing new photo printers.
The new printer range, announced today, includes Expression EcoTank home models, WorkForce EcoTank units for the small to medium business market, and two new photo printers – the ET-7700 and ET-7750, which offer a five-colour ink system for improved photo and document print quality.
All the new models, whether home, business or photo, offer up to two years of ink straight out of the box.
The new models also feature a new industrial design with integrated ink tanks with keyed auto-stop ink bottles for easy filling of each colour and preventing spills.

The new models in the range have integrated ink tanks on the front and clever new, non-spill ink bottles.
"The new range is smaller in size, better looking and more efficient with some models now boasting significantly increased page yields in the box. We are also soon to launch the groundbreaking new ET-7700 and ET-7750 A4 and A3 5-colour EcoTank photo printers – a huge bonus for people who print lots of photos.”
Epson's EcoTank printers are engineered to print thousands of pages of documents or photos before they run out of ink. This fact coupled with the low cost of replacement ink bottles for the range are claimed to provide considerable savings over more traditional printer designs. The new models announced are:
- Epson ET-2610 with enough ink to print up to 4000 pages in black and white, and 6500 pages in colour;
- Epson ET-2700 and ET-2750 with enough ink to print up to 6500 pages black and white, and 5200 colour;
- Epson ET-3700 with more than twice the page yield of its predecessor – 14,000 pages in black and 11,200 pages in colour; and
- Epson ET-7700 and ET-7750, which includes enough ink to print up to 14,000 pages black and white and 9000 colour, or quite literally thousands of 4” x 6” photos.
In today's EcoTank range the new integrated ink tanks are positioned in the front of each EcoTank printer rather than on the side, which provides a simpler user experience allowing the cartridge-free supersized ink-tanks to be easily filled. The new auto-stop ink bottles feature a unique spout and inlet design for each colour to prevent misfilling, and stop automatically when the tank is full.
