Availability vendor Veeam Software has appointed Shaun McLagan to the new role of senior vice-president for APJ.
"Shaun brings extensive industry experience and expertise to the Veeam team and will be strong leader to drive continued growth across APJ," said co-CEO and president Peter McKay.
McLagan most recently worked as APJ vice-president for data protection solutions at Dell EMC, and previously led RSA in Australia and New Zealand.
In his two-decade career in Singapore, Australia and Canada he has also worked for Oracle and HP.

"This is a pivotal time for Veeam, especially in the APJ region, as virtualisation and cloud are enabling organisations to embrace digital transformation and shift their operations to being available 24/7/365,"said McLagan.
"Veeam is helping organisations find new ways to deliver value to both customers and partners,"
