BT has appointed Rajiv Shah as its director for government cyber security in Australasia.
"We are pleased to welcome Rajiv to the business as he will play a vital role in serving our customers on their sophisticated cyber security needs," said BT managing director for Australasia Tim Cavill.
"BT has very deep experience in providing cyber solutions to governments around the world. This appointment builds on our recent announcement to expand our local cyber security R&D facility backed by the support of the NSW Government - and I am confident Rajiv will add significant value to help our customers guard against today's cyber threats."
Shah has more than 20 year experience in the industry. He joins BT from BAE Systems Applied Intelligence, where he was most recently director of cyber, intelligence and security. He previously worked for Detica, which was acquired by BAE Systems in 2008.
