VIDEO Interview: Alexander Slade, 21yo CEO of A Corp shares IT success secrets

Having started his IT company at 12, Alexander Slade is now 21 years young, studying at Uni while running a very successful SMB IT specialist as chief executive, with big aspirations for the future.

Technological and business success is something plenty in the many and varied world of IT want for themselves, and while success stories are out there, few started in their tween-age years, rising to CEO at just 21.

Of course, in 2017, our technological future has never looked brighter, with the opportunities for A Corp practically limitless in scope, for the world of IT only gets more exciting, more capable, more scalable, cloudier, ever needing of more security and innovative ways to solve customer problems every day.

So, when the boldness and fearlessness of youth meets the opportunities that technology affords us today, there are various paths to success.

{loadposition alex08}It could from creating one’s own software/apps and/or hardware, or some Kickstarter or Indiegogo project aiming to bring some revolutionary idea to life, or being a founder, co-founder or initial employee in some tech company with an amazeballs YOLO FOMO product or service destined to become a unicorn with a billion-dollar value.

The other way is to start a traditional business, delivering honest-to-goodness customer service, and through word of mouth and quality, attracting a growing customer base that includes still serving and servicing the very first customer when the business started all those years ago.

That’s the path that young padawan Alexander Slade took at the age of 12, under the wings of his clearly amazing parents, and while Slade’s business and IT Jedi-skills are still being acquired and developed through not only being a real life CEO but through an IT and business double degree, it’s a solid path to success that Slade has made his own, combining youthful exuberance with old fashioned hard work and team building.

You can see that in Slade in spades in the video interview he graciously gave me embedded below, where we meet the man behind the boy who has grown up to already achieve things many can only dream of, with the rest of his life still well ahead of him, and clearly, plenty more achievements to come, in amongst whatever inevitable challenges lay ahead, above and beyond the challenges already experienced over nearly the last decade in business.

So, what does A Corp offer to the market today?

Well, as an SMB IT specialist, A Corp offers the full suite of services you’d expect, ranging from managed print services, network security, data security and web deployment to cloud services and datacenter colocation.

Cloud services means Public Cloud, Private Cloud and Hybrid Cloud services. IT Solution integration, managed services provision including BaaS, SaaS, SECaaS and IaaS solutions. Expert consultants, engineers and technicians available. Affordable rates. 24/7 support. VoIP. Web development and more.

The only thing I don’t see there is app development, but I’m sure if you needed that service, A Corp would find the right people to be able to provide it.

The company even proudly displays its key stats, such as “50 Managed Service Clients, 90 Servers Monitored, 55 Networks Protected and 100 Computers Backup Up.”

Whether you think those numbers are big or small, it’s a testimony to Slade’s tenacity and technological trade triumph, and frankly, it is inspiring. If Slade can do it, anyone can, if you set your mind to it - the only limitation on your own success is you!

So, here’s my video interview with A Corp CEO, Alexander Slade. A summary of the questions is below.

I start by introducing Alexander and welcoming him to the program. We then speak of his history in the world of tech, the beginnings of A Corp, and whether he ever though of calling his business the A Team instead.

We looked at the challenges Alexander has already faced over the past few years, through to achievements since then.

I asked about advice that could be given to other startups out there, whether being run by tween and teenagers, let alone traditional adults.

We delved further into the products and services offered by A Corp, Alexander’s aspirations for the future, the best piece of advice he’s ever received to help him get where he is today, and his final messages to iTWire readers and viewers, and to his current and future customers.

So, I certainly do wish Alexander and A Corp the best of success, and great challenges that deliver amazing lessons and growth opportunities.

I look forward to his progress, and can only suggest that if you need the kind of services A Corp offers, you may well wish to check the company out for yourself.
