Broadband and hybrid WAN solutions company Silver Peak has secured a formal global distribution agreement with NEC Networks and System Integration Corporation.
Silver Peak says the distribution agreement addresses the “burgeoning demand” for SD-WAN technologies across the Japanese and broader global markets.
The company says NESIC will immediately serve as a global distributor of the Silver Peak Unity EdgeConnect SD-WAN solution and offer turnkey systems integration services.
In addition comprehensive maintenance and support services will be delivered by NESIC global partner NCR Group, throughout 180 countries.

Under the agreement NESIC will focus on enterprises embracing cloud-based services with 100 or more global offices, initially targeting the manufacturing, financial and services sector markets.
