Vividwireless powers The Happiness Movement

A new initiative powered by Australian wireless ISP Vividwireless dubbed "The Happiness Movement" launches to highlight Australia’s goodwill via charities and not-for-profit organisations with $10,000 to be awarded.

To combat all the doom and gloom in the world today, internet service provider Vividwireless has created a new initiative to reward the good deeds of everyday Australians.

Entitled ‘The Happiness Movement’, this social movement, powered by Vividwireless, "wishes to support Australians who make a difference to the lives of others and continue to spread positivity across the country". The company says it "wants to add a little sunshine to the lives of everyday Australians".

"Charity workers, volunteers, artists and individuals working on a project meant to bring happiness to others are invited to enter the competition for the opportunity to win $10,000 going towards their happiness project."

The movement "wants to hear how charities and not-for-profit organisations and those who work with them are positively shaping the lives of the people around them. To enter, participants will need simply outline their Happiness Project in 250 words or less, and how they would use $10,000 to help support those in need. Entries close on 26 September".

The general public will be able to vote on a shortlist of finalists via Vividwireless’ Facebook page, where you can also keep an eye out for the "Happiness Movement" and follow Vividwireless on social media for cheerful initiatives happening around Australia.

The initiative with the most votes will be determined on 11 October and awarded $10,000.

The abridged terms you’ll find at the Movement’s site are:

“Entry is only open to Registered Charities (including Charitable Institutions and Charitable Funds) and not-for-profit organisations in Australia. Persons who enter this Promotion on behalf of an eligible charity/not-for-profit organisation must have the authority to act on behalf of and bind the eligible charity/not-for-profit organisation.
