NEC has launched its SL2100 Smart Communications System for Australia, which it says is designed to simplify communications and boost repeat business for small- and medium-sizedbusinesses.
It is billing the SL2100 Smart Communications System as the newest and most advanced SMB communications platform that offers wide-ranging support for Voice over IP, mobility and Unified Communications and Collaboration features – “offering businesses across all industries an ultra-reliable yet flexible platform to ensure today’s workforce can continue to meet the immediate demands and expectations of all customers”.

Hurt said NEC had also delivered enhanced security features in the SL2100 to address the threat of toll fraud, where unauthorised use of a phone system results in fraudulent calls being charged to the customer’s account.
