AFL club Collingwood is using a Pure Storage system for its player analytics.
Collingwood's FlashArray//M is used to store on-field data provided by Champion Data including kicks, marks, handballs, and scoring sources.
Post match, the system can generate custom reports for each area coach for player performance improvement and outlining the game plan for the next game.

Previously, Collingwood could not keep all its data online, but Pure's data reduction capability avoids that limitation and allows databases and web applications to work more quickly and efficiently.
