Optus Wholesale has partnered with telecommunications systems and solutions provider BTB Australia in an exclusive National Broadband Network reseller agreement.
Under the agreement, Optus will deliver NBN access which BTB Australia will on-sell to its major retail energy client, WINconnect.
John Castro, vice-president, sales and marketing, Optus Wholesale, said, “This relationship is unique in that it highlights the support existing NBN resellers or potential resellers can access to enter the NBN market without building a telecommunications business from scratch.”
Castro says the partnership enables WINconnect to offer NBN services as part of its interactions with retail customers.

“The partnership between BTB and Optus presents an opportunity for many brands and companies to enter a large segment of the telecommunications market with very little obstruction or capital investment.”
According to Optus, potential new resellers are able to leverage BTB’s back-end operations while they focus on sales and marketing, with BTB providing a white label service delivering customer service, technical support, billing, debt collection, network design and a finished NBN product.
