We consider it an honour to support our reservists when they’re called upon to serve the nation and, equally importantly, to assist them as they return to work,” said Mike Barber, chief operating officer NEC Australia.
“We understand that reservists face the extra pressure of balancing service with the usual life and work commitments and humbly accept this award for the support we provide Mr Lydford and other employees with dual responsibilities.”
Colin Radford, DRSC Victoria State Chair, said, “Employers such as NEC understand that you don’t have to wear a uniform to serve your country. By supporting their reservists to serve and return to their civilian employment, they are making a huge contribution and getting a skilled, accomplished leader in the bargain.”
