- Telstra is promising 'more value and the best entertainment experience' for Telstra iPhone customers
- Telstra has introduced a trade-in of up to $400 credit when customers trade in their iPhone 6 up to a new iPhone 7. It is estimated there are more than 25 million mobile phones sitting idle on shelves and in drawers across the nation and Telstra’s customers have told it they want an easy way to unlock the value of their unused phones. Telstra says its trade in offer ‘makes owning a new iPhone even more affordable.’
- Telstra is boosting data allowances on selected plans including its $95 Go Mobile Plan. For example, Telstra customers can purchase the iPhone 7 32GB on a $95 Go Mobile Plan with a $4 a month handset repayment and receive 10GB of data (min cost over 24 months $2376) along with unlimited Telstra Air Wi-Fi data.
- Telstra customers who sign up to a $95 Go Mobile Plus plan or above will also receive a 12-month Apple Music membership with data-free music streaming so they can listen to the songs they love on the go.
- Telstra is offering a free three-month subscription to all three leading streaming video providers Netflix, Stan and Presto on selected mobile plans.
- Telatra customers can catch all the 2016 finals action live from their iPhone screen with both AFL and NRL season passes included and data-free.
- Telstra small business customers who sign up to a $135 or $195 24 month contract will receive a 24 month Office 365 Business membership, giving access to productivity tools on the go.
- Both iPhones are also the fastest yet, capable of typical download speeds up to 50 per cent faster than the previous model with Cat 9 LTE technology allowing new iPhone owners to tap into increased capacity, speed and reliability of the Telstra Mobile Network.
A Telstra spokesperson said: “For many Australians, this is the most anticipated phone launch of the year.
