Promising to take the frustration out of online shopping with just one click (or is that one Klika), the company is pressing home a winning point with its ParcelPoint play.
Online e-tailer Klika, which proudly boasts of being one of Australia’s top 20 pure play e-tailers, has “continued the expansion of its omni-channel model by announcing its collaboration with ParcelPoint".
ParcelPoint explains that it is “one of Australia’s largest networks of extended-hours locations where online shoppers can collect and return their purchases when it suits them".
You can take “full advantage of click-and-collect” or you can send your parcels from Klika, and thereby avoid missing your deliveries or having to line up at traditional postal outlets.
{loadposition alex08}And, while Klika has worked with Parcel Connect since November last year, the e-tail stakes are only upping as each player seeks to hold the winning hand, not just for themselves, but their customers, too.
So it should come as no surprise to see Klika stating it “continues to bridge the gap between online and offline after-sale shopping experience”, and asking, “How many online retailers in Australia can say that?”
Leo Zaitsev, Klika’s director of Commercial Operations, said: “We are always looking at innovative ways to improve the consumer’s shopping experience which in turn increases our customer acquisition and retention.
“We see our partnership with ParcelPoint as a great addition to our overall business strategy and marketing mix, as we understand that a successful delivery forms a crucial part of the consumer’s shopping experience. Offering this to our customers allows us to minimise one of the biggest frustrations experienced with online shopping.”
Indeed, having to wait days or weeks for a delivery is certainly one of the factors I find annoying about online shopping, so anytime there’s work to improve this aspect of online dealings, I’m all ears in wanting to learn what various companies are doing to dramatically improve this experience.
Recognised as “Internet Retailing 2017 top rising star”, Zaitsev shines bright as a veteran of the online retail space.
Klika proudly notes Zaitsev oversees a team that is “dedicated to customer intelligence which enables the pure play powerhouse to be at the forefront of understanding consumer needs and online shopping trends".
“One thing we never overlook is customer retention. While customer acquisition will always be an ongoing focus point, customer longevity and repeat business is equally important to our success.” Zaitsev continued.
“It’s no secret that our exponential growth stems from being customer centric. Monitoring consumer trends, identifying ways to minimise online shopping pain points, and growing the traffic in our physical and virtual stores are our top priorities.
“We have been operating our click-and-collect outlet seven days a week, long before click-and-collect became a buzzword.
“The fatal flaw in online shopping is not being home during delivery, and with the online retail continuously booming, it’s only going to get worse. Recognising this early on in the game plus partnering with ParcelPoint helps us power through the last mile in online shopping.“
So, if you want to get your point across by experiencing a successful delivery, Klika’s keen options to do just that are definitely pointing in the right direction.
