Basware renews Vocus agreement for Australia, NZ

Finland-based purchase-to-pay solutions provider Basware has signed an agreement for the renewal of purchase-to-pay and e-invoicing services with telecommunications services company Vocus in Australia and New Zealand.

Under the agreement the solutions are powered by Basware purchase-to-pay and unified cloud-based platform for procurement and accounts payable automation.

The agreement includes the expanded scope of accounts payable automation, analytics and procurement services.

Vocus merged with M2 in September 2015 to claim a place as Australia's fourth-largest telecommunications company and the third-largest in New Zealand.

"We are pleased to support our customers as they grow. This is another example of a customer who has increasingly leveraged the power of cloud-based solutions, adding elements to enhance their corporate visibility and control as they expand the use of our product offering which now also encompasses sourcing and financial services," says Michael Pyliotis, vice-president, APAC at Basware.
