Leica has updated its TL compact body, mirrorless camera, with a new 24MP, CMOS sensor and a new Maestro II high-performance image processor, The TL2 gives outstanding picture quality with impressive dynamic range, excellent contrast and colour rendition, exceptional sharpness and finest resolution of details.
The Leica TL2 hallmark is the unusual design of its compact body precisely machined from a single block of aluminium to give a unique look, feel and solidity to its diminutive 134 x 69 x 33 mm x 399g body (plus Leica SL, M, or R lenses with a mount). It has a 3.7” LCD monitor and optional electronic viewfinder or it can be viewed/controlled from an iOS or Android app.
Ryan Williams, General Manager at Leica Camera Australia said that TL2 offered everything a still photographer could want including video 4K (3840 x 2160p @30 fps), full HD (1920 x 1080p @60 fps), HD (1280 x 720p @ 60 fps) or slow motion at 120 fps.

The TL2 body is available in silver and black at $2,750 plus lenses. Functional camera accessories, such as high-quality protectors in Nappa leather, which can stay on the camera when changing the battery, and colour-coordinated carrying straps in stone-grey, black, red, yellow and cemento, are ideal complements to the TL system portfolio.
