Samsung and “Boiler Room” are delivering “Infinity Sounds”: an immersive, audio-visual show that’s Boiler Room’s first to be captured exclusively through a smartphone lens.
Set to be broadcast live from a “secret inner Sydney warehouse location,” this collaborative Infinity Sounds event will see the audience “get up close and personal with “Flight Facilities, New York’s Jacques Renault, Kllo and Adi Toohey” in a previously unseen way,” while enjoying the engaging work of futuristic visual artists, “Nic Hamilton and Dave Mackenzie of Unsigned Studio”.
This exclusive event will be streamed live worldwide from 6pm AEST on 16 July 2017 at the Boiler Room website here, from where you can also RSVP for the event in the hope of scoring a private list-only invitation.
Hamilton and Mackenzie are “responsible for the boundary-pushing visuals behind electronic music pioneers Warp Records and the likes of Hudson Mohawke, Night Slugs, Fade to Mind, LuckyMe and the London Chamber Orchestra,” and specialise in “creative technologies, augmented reality and interaction design, curating unique moving visuals across the globe.”
Naturally, these “acclaimed artists will conceptualise the evening’s visuals to complement the Samsung Galaxy S8’s edge-to-edge Infinity Display and the incredible low-light performance of its high-res, fast-shooting cameras, which are suited perfectly to ‘the club’.”

We are told that Australia’s own “Flight Facilities” will make their highly awaited Boiler Room debut at the Infinity Sounds event.
For those who aren’t aware, the dynamic duo released their long-anticipated new single and video “Arty Boy” with Emma Louise this month, which is “the first taste of new music since their gold certified, world-toured, twice ARIA-nominated debut LP Down to Earth.”
They now return to where it all began with an intimate DJ set from their hometown, Sydney.

This equally impressive artist is a DJ, remixer and producer whose co-run house, disco & techno party and label of the same name, Let’s Play House, has fans on all sides of the globe.
He was also voted New York’s best DJ by PAPER Magazine: Renault is not to be missed for his unrivalled vinyl collection and illustrious DJ sets.
As you can expect from the list of artists above, this exclusive, immersive, AV extravaganza has more in store, with Melbourne’s Simon Lam and Chloe Kaul (AKA Kllo) heading north to Sydney for their Boiler Room debut - after having already garnered serious praise from around the world for their “warm and woozy house-tinged productions.”

Adding even further to the prestige of this event, is "one of Sydney’s favourite independent music supporters, Adi Toohey," who will open the evening’s proceedings.
Holding the “coveted Saturday Sunset slot at FBi Radio, Toohey is a mainstay across some of the country’s largest festivals and has supported The Black Madonna, Hunee, Tornado Wallace and Soichi Terada.”
For those not familiar with Boiler Room, it evolved from the UK's rich pirate radio heritage, and has since “grown from a webcam taped on a warehouse wall to become a definitive showcase of new music worldwide.”
In just seven years, Boiler Room has “weaved itself into the fabric of dance music culture, boasting an envious back catalogue of live sets from the likes of Jamie XX, Thom Yorke, Chet Faker, Richie Hawtin and ?uestlove.”
We are told that, “following Boiler Room’s recent live broadcast performance of AIR in partnership with the Sydney Opera House and VIVID Live, the undisputed home for underground music returns to the New South Wales capital in July for a dynamic adventure in sound and vision, in collaboration with the Samsung Galaxy S8.”
So, the organisers, artists and Samsung naturally advise you not to miss “Samsung Galaxy S8 x Boiler Room presenting Infinity Sounds, broadcast worldwide from Sydney on Sunday 16 July.”
As noted, Infinity Sounds will be “held in a secret Sydney warehouse location announced on the day and is a private, RSVP guest list-only affair.”
