UNSW wins Cyber Security Challenge

This year's Cyber Security Challenge has been won by a team from the University of New South Wales.

The Cyber Security Challenge is intended to help address the shortage of cybersecurity professionals.

Teams of students are given 24 hours to complete a series of penetration and forensic analysis challenges.

310 undergraduates took part this year, and many former participants are now employed by sponsors of the event, according to the Office of the Cybersecurity Special Advisor to the Prime Minister.
