Australian-listed global parking company Smart Parking has been selected to provide its smart parking system to New Zealand city Hamilton.
Under the deal Hamilton, in the North Island, will deploy the smart parking technology as part of its new parking plan to revitalise Hamilton’s Central Business District (CBD).
Smart Parking (ASX:SPZ) will provide parking technology for approximately 945 parking bays in Hamilton, which is New Zealand’s fourth most populous city.
The deployment follows a recent deal by Smart Parking with Wilson Parking New Zealand and represents what the company says is further expansion into the New Zealand market.

The UK registered, ASX-listed company, claims over 55,000 vehicle detection sensors installed in 16 countries and the largest market share of the global intelligent parking sensor and integrated smart parking services market.
