Samsung backs Windows 10 with 360° Notebook 9 Pro – Computex 2017

The Notebook 9 Pro packs reasonable specifications, including an Intel Core i7-7500U, and an AMD Radeon 540 GPU for the 15.6” model. Windows 10 Creators edition (rolling out now) has amped up Windows Ink Workspace and it is becoming more of a requested and used feature.

Samsung Electronics in the US lists also 21 variations of six different Windows-based notebooks, but Samsung Australia so far has resisted selling Windows 10 devices except the excellent TabPro S 12”, a Surface-like Hybrid with an AMOLED screen but no S Pen support.

The new S Pen has a .7mm tip and detects more than 4000 levels of pressure as well as tilt for different effects. The S Pen does not require charging or batteries – it draws power via induction from the screen.
