Linius Technologies’ subsidiary and video technbology developer Linius Solutions has sealed a partnership with IBM to integrate its video virtualisation engine into IBM’s Bluemix platform.
Under the agreement IBM will promote and sell the Linius VVE to IBM’s network of corporate clients and Linius will market the product across all four of its target market sectors including virtualisation hosted on the IBM Cloud, personalised advertising, anti-piracy, security and surveillance.
As part of the deal, Linius has also been accepted as an IBM Business Partner in PartnerWorld, IBM’s channel programme.
Chris Richardson, chief executive of Linius, said the company saw the relationship as significant validation of its technology and commercialisation plans.
