Updates for iOS 10.3.2, macOS 10.12.5, tvOS, watchOS and more now available

The latest round of updates for Apple’s devices, as well as iTunes for Windows, iCloud for Windows and Apple Music 2.0 for Android have been released.

May 15 was mayday for Apple’s iDevices, Macs, Apple TVs, Apple Watches and various software products it has for Windows, Androids and Macs.

The latest updates largely revolve around security updates, something totally crucial in today’s world, exemplified by the horrific mess Microsoft has found itself in thanks to the highly embarrassing vulnerabilities found in its shoddy operating systems.

While Apple has certainly been berated for being slow to patch in the past, at least Apple hasn’t seen its reputation smashed into a million pieces, as has that of Microsoft, the NSA, the CIA and others

Indeed, despite Apple being under heavy attack by the NSA, CIA and FBI, Apple nevertheless remains a heck of a lot safer to use than Google’s Android and Microsoft’s Windows, the latter of which are two very mushy peas in a very leaky pod when it comes to security and privacy.

For macOS users wanting the latest update, you can download it manually here from Apple, or you can go to the App Store from the ‘Apple Menu’ in the top left hand corner, and then click on the Updates icon to see which updates are available.

Note, if you download the update manually, it is 2.25GB in size. I am downloading it manually because my App Store update is continually spinning, possibly because a lot of users are trying to get the update at the same time after reading that updates are available. Normally I don't have an issue in the App Store on macOS showing me an update is available, but on this occasion, I am - so I am downloading manually.

iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch users can go to the Settings icon, click on General and then Software Update.

Apple Watch users can click on the Watch icon on their iPhones, the scroll down to and tap General, then tap Software Update.

For tvOS users, go to your settings icon and look for the Software Update option.

If you have iTunes or iCloud for Windows, click the Start Button and look for the ‘Apple Software Update’ icon.
