Vaya bills itself as the best-value mobile service provider, and it has just struck back against the latest mobile offerings by re-introducing two of its most popular past promotions.
Hot on the heels of Vodafone offering its new 35-day expiry pre-paid plans, comes value-driven Vaya, the Optus-powered Amaysim-owned MVNO.
Vaya says that, “as part of its continued quest to offer the best SIM-only plans on the market”, it has “announced it will turn back the clock to re-introduce two of the most popular past promotions just in time for winter.”
Quite what the weather has to do with anything beyond the notion of a prize “freeze” for “winter”, and the fact that it's nearly winter, Vaya clearly hopes it will be snowed under with customers wanting to take the company up on its offer.
{loadposition alex08}So, what is the offer?
Well, from today until June 30, Vaya says its customers will “be able to access massive discounts of around 30% on almost all of Vaya’s 12-month mobile plans".
The 12-month plans will enable Vaya’s customers to “secure an even lower price through a one off, up-front payment for the year", and will “see $84 taken off the Unlimited L plan, $70 off the Unlimited M plan and $54 off the Unlimited S plan".
In addition to this, Vaya has another special offer for new customers “who sign up to any mobile or data-only plan before 16 June".
These new customers “will be gifted a complimentary 2nd SIM, all set up with a month worth of Vaya’s 5GB data-only plan.”
That’s a pretty snazzy deal, especially given the fact that Vaya only charges $15 per month for a whopping 5GB on its data-only SIMs, a price its competitors only offer 2GB of data for, so if one month of 5GB free on a complimentary second SIM sounds like something you’d want to snatch up, sail on over to Vaya’s website for all the details.
Naturally, Vaya bills its winter offers as deals “designed to deliver unbeatable value to wallet-conscious Aussie mobile and device users in search of great deals", with both deals available now through Vaya’s website.

Vaya advises that “all plans are powered by the Optus 4G Plus Network, and underpinned by Vaya’s unique Price Beat Guarantee, which sees it not only price match any other telco’s comparable 4G non-promotional offer, but also provide the next month for free".
The detail on this deal is that “offers need to be a SIM only mobile or data-only plan advertised with the inclusions as a Vaya mobile plan. The price beat guarantee will appear as a credit on the customer’s monthly bill”, and that as per usual, “guarantee terms and conditions apply".
