Victorian real estate group Hocking Stuart has partnered with global digital visualisation solutions provider, Diakrit, to launch an online service designed to enhance the way home hunters find their future homes.
Hocking Stuart is currently running a pilot phase of the technology – a suite of visualisation tools on the Diakrit platform - via its St Kilda office, with the first Diakrit listing receiving over 500 views on realestate.com.au within 24 hours of going live.
The company plans to rollout the suite of visualisation tools across its office network over the next five months.
With the technology, Hocking Stuart properties listed on the agency’s website and on realestate.com.au and domain.com.au offer:
{loadposition peter}
- 3D floor plans
- A Furnish and renovation application which allows buyers to both digitally furnish a property listed online with a selection of home furniture or alter the layout of the property
- A Kitchen Styling application which enables buyers to re-design the kitchen using existing photos of the kitchen
- Panoramic tours showcasing the property in 360 & VR
- A new magazine quality photography style, including lifestyle and dusk photography
According to CEO of Hocking Stuart, Simon Jovanovic, the network is "fundamentally changing the house hunting journey".
“It’s no secret that buyers spend hours online searching for properties while juggling platforms such as Instagram and Pinterest to research interior design schemes. This suite of tools will enable home hunters to visualise their dream home on the one platform.
“For vendors, there’s substantial engagement with their property, as we’ve seen already in our pilot phase. Plus, our package will cost less than what they’re currently paying for online advertising and photography.”
Dick Karlsson, Executive Vice President and Co-Founder of Diakrit says that buyer engagement is a major benefit of the technology.
“We’re creating an emotional journey for the buyer before they even see the property up close. Our research shows that a 3D floor plan can generate up to 17% more leads than a regular 2D floor plan because it speaks to the heart.
“Buyers are also incentivised to engage, with our data showing that really engaged users spends around 20 minutes using our FurnishTM tool.
“The amount of information on offer to the buyer via Diakrit is unprecedented – and honest. Every 2D floorplan we design is to scale, and we avoid wide lens photography so every photo is accurate. What buyers see is what they get.”
