Kogan seeks to lure ‘data heavy’ mobile users with latest plans

Online discounter Kogan has kept up the market pressure to lure mobile users to its services with the launch of a new deal on mobile plans which it claims sets a new “value benchmark” for mobile access.

Under plans announced on Thursday, uptil May 31 Kogan is pitching to  “price conscious” mobile customer access to all of its 30-day pre-paid plans for $4.90,including what it  says is an “extra large” deal that provides for 14GB of data plus unlimited standard national calls and text.

According to David Shafer, executive director at Kogan Mobile, the new offer marks the cheapest deal per megabyte of data that the company has offered.

“The new offering represents an opportunity for Australians who are looking for affordable mobile data to try out a trusted network.

“Kogan Mobile provides a low-cost way for Aussies to remove the worry caused by mobile phone bills – with unlimited national talk and text, and a huge data allowance, there is no need to risk spending more than you were expecting.

“Best of all, for $4.90, there is now an easy and inexpensive way for everybody to see why hundreds of thousands of Australians are making the switch to Kogan Mobile.”
