Nunzio Mirtillo has been appointed head of market area South East Asia, Oceania and India for Ericsson as part of a regional organisational restructure structure for the company.
In his new role Mirtillo has responsibility for Ericsson’s business across markets such as Australia and New Zealand, India, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Philippines and Bangladesh.
The 29-year Ericsson veteran has experience in various roles including in solutions development, sales, marketing and delivery and, most recently, has been head of region Mediterranean, responsible for Ericsson’s business and operations across 25 countries.
Ericsson’s reorganisation from 10 regions to 5 market areas and 4 business units to 3 business areas aims to increase efficiency and speed up time to market and customer responsiveness.
{loadposition peter}As part of his appointment, Mirtillo becomes a member of Ericsson’s executive team.
