Wesley Mission Queensland has deployed SugarCRM software to enable a single view of its customers, initially across its customer service, marketing, fundraising, in home care and allied health businesses.
After a competitive tender against Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, Cherwell Software and TechnologyOne, Wesley Mission selected SugarCRM to support its business transformation, rolling out CRM software across the organisation.
Mark Troselj, vice-president APJ, SugarCRM, says it was selected on the basis that it offers a best-of-breed system that can “easily be adapted and extended” to meet the specific and changing needs of Wesley Mission and its operating environment.
The rollout for Wesley was completed in partnership with SugarCRM Advanced Partner, Loaded Technologies.

“We understood that building a deeper understanding of customers was going to be key to embracing the new landscape we found ourselves in, and yet we had no single customer view,” Kris Sargeant, director, Community Care & Inclusion, Wesley Mission Queensland, said.
“Information about our customers was spread between departments, systems and excel spread sheets, so achieving a single view of our customers was a key objective for our CRM initiative.”
“We chose SugarCRM’s open software because it provides incredible ease of use for staff at every level of our organisation, enabling them to engage with customers and stakeholders effectively.
“The system was also able to deliver functionality that met our key needs, including process support for event management, donations management, sponsorship management, enquiry and lead capture/ management, case management and project management and it was straightforward to integrate with our existing TechnologyOne and Comcare systems.”
