Storage vendor Hitachi Data Systems (HDS) has appointed Russell Skingsley as its Singapore-based chief technology officer, solutions and products group leader and head of pre-sales for Asia Pacific.
"This appointment highlights our commitment and focus on ensuring our customers realise the full benefits of digital transformation," said HDS Asia Pacific senior vice-president and general manager, Mark Ablett.
"With Russell's extensive background in the IT industry, he will steer our teams toward greater success, offering the advanced expertise and market awareness that our customers need."
Skingsley joined HDS from Juniper Networks where he was most recently vice-president of systems engineering. He held several other senior positions at that company.
