Former Australian Government top security expert and adviser Lynwen Connick has taken up the role of Chief Information Security Officer at the ANZ Bank.
Connick joins ANZ from the Federal Government where she delivered the new National Cyber Security Strategy in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet.
Prior to her role with PM&C, Connick was Chief Information Security Officer for the Department of Defence and was 25 years with the Australian Signals Directorate, most recently serving as deputy director and first assistant secretary capability.
Connick will report to ANZ Group Executive Technology, Gerard Florian.
{loadposition peter}Florian said Connick will be responsible for ensuring ANZ’s information security strategy evolves with the changing technology landscape and supports the bank’s digital transformation.
